I would like you all to meet the Classic Mini Bernie (yes I have a habit of naming cars) Bernie was purchased in February 2017 and needs a lot of work done to him and unfortunately, I do have a deadline for Bernie to be road legal by the 28th of July 2017! (Crazy I know) Why does he need to be road legal by the end of July 2017? That would be because I am participating in the Elan Valley UK Mini Run! Now I'm not completely crazy (although some might disagree) I have registered to do the event in my R50 2004 Mini Cooper with the intention of doing a change of vehicle for my little Bernie here so wish me luck and keep everything crossed I can manage to get Bernie to the Elan Valley Mini Run! So if your in Wales for the end of July and in the Elan Valley to Aberystwyth area it's going to be a mini spectacular event with over 200 minis taking part!
I will keep you guys updated with my progress and see if we reach the deadline or not.

Elan valley mini parade
The Mini parade is taking place at the elan valley this summer on Sunday the 30th of July. With over 200 classic & modern minis taking part in the parade it's a sight you don't want to miss!!
The parade will begin in the town of Rhayader at 11:30am from the rugby club, if you wish to see the minis up close we invite you to come and see us on the field before the parade, the minis will be on display from 10:30am (LD65BP)
At 11:30am we will leave the rugby club in a slow convoy pipping and waving as we parade through the elan valley and down the mountain pass to Aberystwyth. The parade will finish at the park lodge hotel just outside Aberyswyth where you are all welcome to come and view these stunning classics (SY23 3TL). If you are wishing to attend and see the parade through Rhayader and the elan valley please arrive early and allow yourself time to park up and find yourself a safe place to stand and watch this spectacular parade.
The event will be covered by BBC WALES, Mini magazine, Miniworld magazine, Also several local newspapers.
Please note tickets to take part in the parade have sold out but please feel free to come and spectate
