New Project Car..
I present to you the #GetTheGirlOnTrack project car!
A 2001 Mk2 1.6 Renault Clio - A.K.A the Sh!tBox or soon to be RiceBox! Rice as an acronym for Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement.
I bought this little track day car from an old work colleague back in 2019(I think) with the intention of turning it into a stage rally car. Of course we all know what happened in 2020... when the entire world came to a standstill and there was no motorsport events being held. I sadly left the little car neglected on the drive as I was unsure of which direction to take it down, Do I rally it? Do I circuit race it? Can I do modifications to it so that I can do both without too much hassle? After some months of procrastinating I found details of the Formula Woman Competitions return. From that moment on I decided to go down the circuit racing route and enter myself in for this once in a lifetime opportunity. This made me decide to put the rally transformation on hold and get this little cracker ready to use for Trackdays as seat time is crucial for training.
