Some of you might have heard of DARE TO BE DIFFERENT which is a charity/organisation that encourages girls and women to get involved in any aspect of motorsport be it racing, marshalling, mechanic, engineering, photographer, journalist any aspect you could think of.
I have been an active member of D2BD for a couple of years now and it really is an amazing organisation to be a part of, I have had so many experiences that I wouldn't have even imagined that could happen to me. They hold various member meetings where you get to visit amazing locations, meet incredible women and network with people all over the motorsport industry. Through Dare to be different I have assisted them at Wales Rally GB and at the FIA World Rally Cross in Silverstone. Attended networking events at the Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone while the F1 teams were setting up for the GB round of F1. I have also had the privilege to attend events at The Royal Automobile Club in London and the home of ROKiT Williams F1 Racing.
This really is a special group to be apart of, it has inspired me to do this blog and is inspiring me to go even further into exploring my passion in Motorsport. I can't wait to see where it takes me!
